We do have a hoist to assist your entry and exit to craft if required.

Located in a secure marina at Brundall on the River Yare just to the east of Norwich, BPWAC has a purpose built facility with full disabled access, comprising of separate male/female showers and changing facilities, a small galley, store and classroom. The building is situated on a private plot of land with water frontage, a disabled person hoist and slip facilities for easy access to designated sailing areas.

Dependent upon conditions instruction takes place in either of 4 designated sailing areas on the River Yare or Surlingham Broad. The extensive sailing area and variety of wildlife affords ample opportunity to explore the Norfolk Broads in the true spirit of "Swallows and Amazons". Cruises down river and "passage sailing" with Youth leaders/ Instructors takes place regularly during the summer months.

If you want to learn how to sail whilst exploring the beautiful Southern Rivers of the Norfolk Broads then why not come and join us.

If you have any sailing experience and would be interested in volunteering as helper at our training centre then we would love to hear from you. For those interested in becoming a qualified instructor courses and sponsorship can be arranged.
